Miri Technologies Introduces X510 Bonding Network Router to Enable Fast Internet Anywhere.
Debuting at NAB Show NY, the new dual-SIM router combines up to seven wired, Wi-Fi, satellite and phone network connections to withstand service interruptions and increase speed.
READ, Pa., October 8, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Internet technology startups Shares of Miri Technologies Inc. comes out in stealth mode today with the launch of Miri X510 a router that connects two cells. The new X510 device allows users to combine multiple wired and wireless network connections into a single, high-power interface that delivers exceptional performance even in remote locations which have poor network performance.
In today’s digitally dependent world, a reliable internet connection is a necessity. Yet many people still face frequent internet outages, slow speeds and inconsistent service, leading to frustration, low productivity, and even lost money. The Miri X510 router overcomes this challenge, connecting up to seven Internet links to enhance reliability and maximize performance for use cases ranging from static requirements to broadcast events to events in remote locations to enhance business continuity for businesses and remote workers.
Combining channel aggregation technology from partner Speedify, the Miri X510 can combine Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, satellite connections and mobile data to enable high speed and reliability. Automatic failover ensures uninterrupted connectivity even if the internet service provider fails, while the ability to combine 4G LTE and 5G helps overcome network congestion in crowded areas. The router has two SIM slots (SIMs not included) for integrated 5G and 4G modems; two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports; Wi-Fi 6 connectivity; and two USB ports for an optional modem. Bandwidth can be increased even more with the unique Speedify Pair & Share function, which allows the router to share data connections from mobile devices on the same network with the Speedify app.
Miri worked closely with respected video production and streaming developer Magewell on the development of the X510 to ensure that the new router will meet the demanding needs of broadcasters, streamers and video production professionals. The Miri X510 will be on display at the Magewell booth (753) at the 2024 NAB Show in New York, which is taking place. October 9 and 10 at the Javits Center.
Unlike dedicated video systems that can combine connections, the Miri X510 is not limited to providing video and audio and is not tied to any codec or streaming protocol. It supports any type of data from financial systems to live streams in any current or future format.
“While the Miri X510 is ideal for the connectivity needs of everything from public safety and emergency management to retail and hospitality, live streaming and remote production are cases in point the two most difficult due to their high bandwidth requirements and difficult remote locations,” said Ryan BrennemanCTO of Miri Technologies. “Having the best production equipment can be useless if you don’t have a stable and fast internet connection to bring your creations to your audience. We designed the X510 specifically with these challenges in mind, and during development we have proven its capabilities in locations from crowded Wi-Fi conference centers to high-end locations from rural areas to hundreds of thousands of social media viewers.”
While enhancing the performance of the X510 for portable use such as on-site video production, the X510 has a compact form factor and has two slots for hot NP-F batteries hot (not included). Speedify’s bonding technology encrypts traffic to keep user data safe, and users can choose their preferred Speedify server location for their performance and data governance needs. The first three months of Speedify subscription (required for internet connection) is included for free with the purchase of the Miri X510.
Miri X510 has a price list offer of $1695 USD to United States (prices may vary internationally). The Miri X510 will be distributed in the United States by Mobile Video Devices, Inc. (MVD).
Miri Technologies is now accepting pre-orders for the X510, with shipments expected to begin in the first week of November. For more information or to pre-order, please visit www.miri.tech.
